Race, Youth and Intergenerational Activism

We are saddened and enraged by the untimely death of Professor Jason Arday, a former trustee of the Racial Justice Network. We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, comrades, colleagues and all those who loved and stood alongside him.

As we approach the unimaginable and unbearable first anniversary of the transitioning of our late Comrade, Dr Pious Nyandoro, we are called not only to mourn the loss of an extraordinary Pan-African scholar, organiser and freedom fighter, but also to confront the political conditions that shaped his life and, ultimately, his death.
